Signed by both the author and the illustrator on the limitation page. laid in at rear is a typed letter signed by Van De Water to the owner of the book, Mr. Coley detailing his timely writing regarding the feud and the fact that had it all gone differently Kipling would have remained in the US and died a citizen. Also there is also a second letter to Coley from another source mentioning the "feud" as well and a couple of old newspaper clippings.
